In Person
The Live Water Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to Inspire and Empower the people and organizations we work with by facilitating watersports programs that improve the health, wellness, and environment of our communities. +++ We are excited to host our 2nd Annual Live Water Luau on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Historic Charles Carroll House, 107 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD, 21401. +++ Our first annual Live Water Luau was our largest fundraising event to date. Outside of its main purpose as a way to mingle with our neighbors and fundraise for our programs, hosting the luau allowed us an opportunity to talk about why the incorporation of the Hawaiian spirit of Aloha is integral to our foundation. +++ Set at the historic Charles Carroll House with its stunning view of Spa Creek, the Live Water Luau was an extraordinary evening celebrating Hawaiian culture and traditions through traditional dances and a delicious Hawaiian feast. The auction showcased art, gift baskets from local restaurants, and even giveaways from local makers and artisans. +++ Last year's tickets sold out for this all-inclusive night-to-remember, so make sure to get yours quickly this year! +++ This event is all-inclusive with authentic Hawaiian cuisine (vegetarian and gluten free options available) and open bars offering beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. +++ THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE - all festivities will take place outside with partial tent cover and inside the house. +++ THIS EVENT IS 21+ ONLY - everyone will need to bring identification to show you are of age to attend. Wristbands will be given at check-in.
Story
Established in 2017, Live Water Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Annapolis, MD, is a dedicated group of paddle enthusiasts who are passionate about giving back to the community by facilitating watersports programs and keeping our waterways clean.
Live Water Foundation currently supports three initiatives within the Veteran community, underprivileged and disabled youth, and promoting clean waterways. Our programs include the #LiveLikeCody Wai Koa Program, an adaptive paddling program for physically and mentally disabled Veterans; the Junior Wai Koa Program, which inspires underprivileged and disabled youth to become future leaders through a watersports mentorship program; and numerous clean water initiative programs. In addition to programmatic support, Live Water Foundation team aspires to create “Positive Vibes” within the Veteran community, inspire underprivileged and disabled youth to become future leaders, to be champions in the enhancement of the waterways in which we paddle, and inspire a lifestyle of health and wellness through watersports activities.
