Story

Ethan is about to start his last year at Barnabas Prep , a Christian-based school equipping young adults with disabilities for a life of self-confidence, societal significance, and self dependence. All of the students have some sort of disability, whether mental or physical, that adds challenges to what a normal, healthy college environment cannot anticipate or facilitate.

Ethan’s disability stems from premature birth; he is on the autism spectrum. His mom works 2 jobs and his dad drives a truck for UPS. Ethan has been volunteering at Wilson & Company Barbershop for the last 2 years on Friday afternoons. He helps sweep and clean along with entertaining folks with his math skills. Ethan has seen significant improvements in his social skills and relationships. He is a savant when it comes to math and music.

Ethan’s parents have worked themselves to the bone funding his education, but his last year of school is going to cost $35,000. A collection of us are donating custom knives to raise the money needed for him to complete what he and his family have already persevered to accomplish.  Absolutely ALL proceeds raised from the auction of these items are going directly to his tuition for school.
