✅ MARKED SAFE ✅
A Tattoo Fundraiser Benefiting SOSA

We grew up online. We watched the internet change. And now, new generations are growing up with it too.

On Saturday, October 3, Twelve Twelve Studios is bringing our community together for Marked Safe, a 90s/Y2K-themed tattoo fundraiser benefiting SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse).

SOSA is a national nonprofit working to combat online child sexual abuse and exploitation through prevention, intervention, and survivor support. Their work reaches communities across the country, including extensive work right here in Oklahoma and Canadian County.

Marked Safe is about raising money, raising awareness, and continuing conversations about online safety. Throughout the event, we’ll also be connecting people with information and resources they can take home and continue using long after October 3.

...The HEART of MARKED SAFE...
You may recognize SOSA from their work on the docuseries Undercover Underage, which followed the SOSA team as they created underage decoys and worked alongside law enforcement. (streaming on HBO MAX & DISCOVERY ID)

The series did more than expose something frightening. It started conversations between parents and children, while helping survivors recognize that what happened to them was abuse—and never their fault.

We here at Twelve Twelve Studios also want to be clear about our place in this. We are not professionals in online safety, law enforcement, or survivor support. We are professionals in tattoos—and we are pretty damn good at bringing people together. Tattooing has connected us with thousands of people and their stories. Tattoo shops naturally become places where people talk, connect, and find community.

That is what we know how to do.

We are not here to pretend we have all the answers. We are here to connect people with the professionals who do—and use tattoos, art, local businesses, nostalgia, and a genuinely fun day to help make that connection happen.

That is the heart of MARKED SAFE
