Machik is a people-powered nonprofit dedicated to building a brighter, stronger future for Tibet. For over two decades, Machik has supported grassroots Tibetan communities, changemakers, social innovators, and creative visionaries in Tibet and diaspora, while also creating global platforms that connect communities across borders and strengthen communities everywhere.

Since 1998, Machik has taken an innovative, out-of-the-box approach - taking risks and developing new ways to support empowerment and community resilience under uncertain circumstances. For more than 25 years, this commitment has remained at the heart of our work to build a stronger future for Tibet.

Our work continues because of the support of a global community that shares in this mission. To sustain and grow this impact, we rely on collective generosity and participation.

This year, we are launching our second Machik Community Drive - a people-powered fundraising campaign supporting Machik. Our goal is to raise $10,000 with several ways to participate:
