Let the good times roll at the Humane Society of Scott County's Fundraiser, Mardi Gras Wags & Whiskers! Be sure to come ready to listen to live music from CJ Parker & XII, participate in our silent auction and raffle, vote for Dog & Cat King & Queens, and take photos at our decked out photo booth! Be sure to read other details below: Location: Keppy Hall at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds Parking: There is an abundance of parking right in front the the hall. Attire: Mardi Gras themed apparel is highly encouraged! Bring your masks, beads, and boas! Food & Drink: A cash bar will be available to purchase alcohol or other drinks at the event. We will also provide light appetizers to snack on throughout the night. No outside food or beverage is allowed in the venue. Have Questions about the event? Story
Mardi Gras Wags & Whiskers, previously known as Mardi Paws, is an event that was started by one of our board members several years ago in a local bar. This event has received amazing support from people like you, and we have since grown it tremendously.
Mardi Gras Wags & Whiskers now features live music from CJ Parker and the XII, a silent auction, creole inspired appetizers, a decked out photo booth, and more. By coming to our event, not only will you be supporting the lost and homeless pets in our community, but you'll also have a great time!

About Us: The Humane Society of Scott County helps animals in need by providing shelter, adoption services, and support resources for our community with care and compassion. We don't just care for the lost and homeless pets in our community, but the people who own them too. Our priority is reuniting pets with their families and providing resources to those facing challenges when possible.
