The legacy of Payson Park Church, Belmont

For more than a century, Payson Park Church has been honored to serve the people of Belmont
and the surrounding communities. Guided by our motto, Faithfully Serving the Community, our
church continues to open its doors to a variety of neighborhood groups, including Folk Arts
Center, BSA Troop 304, Payson Park Preschool, the Jameson Singers, Belmont Community
Chorus, and Mystic Valley Morris Dancers.

Recently, we became aware that parts of our building—particularly the lower level—required
improved air quality. To ensure a healthy and welcoming environment for all who use our space,
we have begun a major HVAC upgrade, moving toward a zero-carbon footprint using heat
pumps powered by green electricity.

This is an important and necessary investment in our shared future. While the church has
committed significant resources to this project, we are asking for the community’s support so we
can continue to offer a safe, vibrant gathering place for the many groups who rely on our
building.

We are grateful that these community groups have joined us in supporting this effort. Together,
we are launching our first fundraiser for the HVAC project: an Online Silent Auction.
