It’s for the kids.
Alanzo aka Big Cat has held a 5 o’clock shadow for the past 15 years of his life. To shave his whiskers down to skin will be alarming, and possibly detrimental to his loved ones but 100% worth it for the cause.
As the first mustache was documented in the Egyptian sculpture of Prince Rahotep in 2550 BC, The Cat has set a goal of $2550 to honor the ancients of mustache growing.
Moustaches for Kids (M4K) is a community of volunteer moustache “growers”, who raise money once a year for a local children’s charity. For 30 days, growers will all work tirelessly to grow and display their beautiful moustaches. They, of course, will be asked, "What’s with the stache?”. That is their opportunity to then raise awareness and money for deserving kids. In just five years, Moustaches for Kids has raised $500,000+ for local children's charities.
Don't be afraid - the litter is warm, hop into Big Cat's litter box and help him change the lives of our local children. Remember, it's for the kids!
