Greg’s work documents that peculiar obsession with the 21st century celebrity. His photography is timeless and not confined to has-beens, hot properties and wannabes. Each shot gives a picture of human nature in its infinite range. Each picture is also a testament to the individual character. "For me, a photograph is most successful when it doesn’t answer all of the questions,” says Gorman, “but leaves something to the imagination.”

Born in 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri, Greg attended the University of Kansas with a major in Photojournalism and completed his studies at the University of Southern California, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinematography.Greg resides with his French Bulldog, Cyrill, in Los Angeles, California and spends most of his spare time fishing.

Bryan Rabin’s legendary Giorgio’s Discotheque™ will return to The West Hollywood EDITION, following the success of its Black & White Masquerade Ball new year’s eve event. The special edition Grammy week party on Thursday, January 30 will benefit MusiCares Disaster Relief. Open to the public, a donation of $30 is required for entry, which will go towards fire relief efforts, supporting music professionals impacted by the Los Angeles fires. Taking place at Sunset at EDITION, beneath 400 dazzling disco balls, the night will feature a charity auction, where attendees will have the opportunity to bid on photographic works by iconic celebrity photographer Greg Gorman. Iconic portraits up for auction will include those of David Bowie, Grace Jones and Debbie Harry.
