The films I have seen over the years at the New York International Children's Film festival have been awe inspiring, comical, heartbreaking, provocative and most importantly thought provoking. They remind me of the many possibilities the world can offer and of the importance of sharing narratives from different perspectives of the world. I hope both adults and children have access to inspiring films and I am so glad the NYICFF strives to provide that access.
