You may know about my connection to children's books, but through my husband, I also have a connection to film. I attended this film festival last year and fell in love the beauty and power of the storytelling of these films from all over the world. I also personally experienced the power of film in my own life through one I saw in fifth grade with a message that sustained me through some challenging times in my teen years. Last week, I attended a field trip. The kids in the audience were excited to see characters they could identify with in the amazing films they saw. If you can give a small bit to this cause, I would appreciate it!
