The Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork (CFBB) is excited to host a one-of-a-kind fundraiser to celebrate the completion and opening of the Bridge Street bridge. Following the official ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 25th, we’ll mark this historic moment with a “Ribbon Crashing”—the ceremonial first car to drive across the newly reopened bridge, driving through a ribbon in front of the crowd.

This symbolic first crossing will honor the work and dedication of all those involved, and the winner will have bragging rights for a lifetime. All proceeds from this fundraiser will support ongoing CFBB projects that preserve, improve, and beautify Bigfork for generations to come.

Following the ceremonial drive will be:

Bigfork’s own centenarian, Uncle Bud Robinson, riding in a 1925-era car
A lantern parade led by the Bigfork Library
A community walk across the bridge to the River View Bar, where we’ll enjoy live music, light snacks, and raise a glass to everyone who made this long-awaited project a reality
