Dear Friends of The Foundation,

My name is Mellie Bevilacqua, and I’m proud to serve as Executive Director of The Foundation for Southeast Texas. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community foundation dedicated to supporting other nonprofits throughout Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties and beyond.

For almost 30 years, The Foundation has been a cornerstone in Southeast Texas, facilitating local philanthropy and investing directly into the community. Since our inception, we’ve granted more than $17.8 million to over 500 nonprofits—with $4.2 million awarded in 2024 alone to over 300 organizations.

To celebrate this legacy of giving, we are excited to host our fourth annual benefit concert featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Hayes Carll on September 18 at Amelia Farm and Market in Beaumont.

This event helps ensure we can continue amplifying the work of hundreds of nonprofits across our region. None of it would be possible without our generous sustainers and donors.
