Story

We envision thriving and inclusive communities, where immigrant residents acquire the skills and citizenship status necessary to fully participate in society. And, as immigrants enrich our community, non-immigrants also benefit.

SMCEP has supported Dorchester's immigrant community since 1993. In 2020, we expanded our services to reach immigrants throughout the greater Boston area, providing classes in ESOL, citizenship, English for work, writing, and conversation. All classes are free to our students.

THANK YOU to our event sponsors!

Gold: Martin Richard Foundation, Maloney Properties and The Maneikis Companies

Silver: UMASS Boston and the Irish Pastoral Centre
