The Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea is a professional 42- to 45-piece symphony orchestra based in New Jersey. It was founded in 1986 by Reverend Alphonse J. Stephenson, a Catholic priest who famously balanced careers as a Broadway conductor and a high-ranking military officer.

Responding to the grace of the Holy Spirit received in the sacraments, we seek to become more like Jesus Christ who leads us to the Eternal Father in Heaven.

Inspired by the example of the saints and mindful that we are stewards of God’s abundant blessings, we strive to practice the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy as we serve those in need and build up the Kingdom of God in our midst.
