Healthcare changes are on the horizon: major cuts that will hit the people who can least afford to lose support. But we also know this: together, we can protect what matters most.

When you donate to Painted Brain, you help keep our Community Wellness Center open, a place where people find belonging, healing, and hope through peer-led mental health programs. While politicians debate policy, you can take direct action to ensure recovery stays within reach for California’s most vulnerable communities.

2. Champion Recovery: We urge you to donate to keep our doors open. Your donation will support critical mental health programming led by our peer professionals, who help over 1,400 unique participants annually across California!

3. Share Our Cause: Studies have found community‑based, recovery‑oriented and outreach models, like Painted Brain's, show moderate to high promising effects in functioning, social isolation risk, independence, quality of life, and reduced hospitalization/relapse compared to usual care.
