Established in 1923, Avondale Elementary School serves Pre-K – 5th grade students from the Crestline, Crestwood North, Crestwood South, East Avondale, Eastwood, Forest Park, Highland Park, Overton, Redmont Park, Southside, and South Woodlawn neighborhoods.

Our PTA supports teachers, staff, and Avondale administration in reaching their potential. We advocate for kids and families to get the best education. We are an inclusive space for parents and families. We host community and knowledge building activities for our school community.

In year's past we have had a silent auction at our Annual Fall Festival. Over the past two years it has grown tremendously, as we have had increased support and donations from surrounding businesses. The auction now deserves to be an event on its own! This year the auction will be completely online, and funds raised will help to offset the costs associated with putting on the Fall Festival and allow us to provide a fun, free event for Avondale Elementary School students and their families.
