That Others May Live Foundation (TOMLF) was founded in response to fatal U.S. Air Force Rescue mishaps that left families without support. What began as a grassroots effort to provide immediate relief has grown into a nationwide mission to honor the service and sacrifice of Rescue warriors by caring for their families—today and for generations to come.

Established in 2002, TOMLF unites donors, military leaders, and volunteers to provide direct support to the families of fallen and injured U.S. Air Force Rescue personnel. In its early days, TOMLF helped just eight children; today, it supports more than 30 students on their paths to higher education and has provided urgent financial assistance to 34 families during times of injury, loss, or crisis.

In addition to long-term care for Gold Star families, TOMLF offers college scholarships to the children of all U.S. Air Force Rescue personnel, extending its mission of support to the broader Rescue community. It also sponsors morale and community-building events on local bases in partnership with Rescue squadrons, reinforcing the bond between service members, their families, and the communities they protect.

As of December 2024, TOMLF has funded full college educations for 12 children—with five children currently supported through the Children of Fallen Warriors Scholarship (CFWS) program—and continues to stand with the Rescue community—wherever and whenever the need is greatest.
