WHY IS CAMP IMPORTANT?

This last year, Kamden came to camp. It was his first time coming to camp. He got to go swimming, try the zipline, and participate in all the fun camp activities. He really enjoyed playing basketball and exploring the creek while at camp. But the most exciting thing was that Kamden got to hear stories of how God loved him and was able to discuss his questions with his Christian counselor. That week Kamden decided to accept Christ as his saviour! He wouldn't have been able to come except that someone paid his way to come to camp.

We believe that Camp Good News is place where Jesus Christ transforms lives through Biblical Teaching, Meaningful Relationships, and Outdoor Adventures. Many campers like Kamden come on camp each year to recieve a special experience. However, it is a lot of work and expense to run a camp. Our goal is to try to keep camp prices down and provide scholarships so that any child can get a chance to come to camp for the purpose of hearing about God in a Christ-centered week-long program which is designed specifically for their age. We are seeking funding to help us in our building projects & raise money for future scholarships for camp.
