Veteran mental health continues to remain amongst our nation’s biggest crises with suicide rates reaching numbers higher than ever before identified. In many cases, the veteran has left the battle, but remains in the war.

Each of the past four years, our founder has completed a ruck march to raise awareness for our veterans & PTSD. In 2021, the march was 25 miles. In 2022, the march was 87 miles. In 2023 & 2024, the march was 105 miles.

As the suicide rate continues to grow, the need to serve those who have served us grows as well. In 2025, SSG Michael Connors Ret. & PAWS, will be doing just that by enduring a 4-day ruck march, across from Denver to Colorado Springs, and back to Castle Rock, totaling 165 miles.

On each day of the ruck march PAWS will be partnering with a local business at a Checkpoint Party and will host a fundraiser for PAWS. Those businesses are:

Wednesday, 5/21 – Bucket List Tavern in Castle Rock

Thursday, 5/22 – Red Leg Brewing in Colorado Springs

At the completion of the 4-day ruck march event, 105 West Brewing Company & ConnorsK9-PAWS will be hosting a finale fundraiser event to not only celebrate the ruck’s completion but raise some money for our veterans in Colorado.

The event will have awesome beer, a great food truck, silent auctions, live music, and some service dog presentations.

Most of all, make sure you are at 105 West Brewing on Saturday, May 24^th, to help benefit our nation’s heroes.
