Introduction:

We are excited to present the DIG LIFE GOLF for GOOD Tournament, an event aimed at turning your ideas into impactful actions! This event will serve a dual purpose – as a fundraiser for our diverse programs, including Tutoring, Mentoring, Laptop Giveaway, and Scholarships, and as an opportunity for golf enthusiasts to come together in the spirit of giving back. We will utilize the Shotgun 18 tournament style, where each hole will host a 4-player team, with the entrance fee contributing to our noble causes.

Tournament Details:

The DIG LIFE GOLF for GOOD Tournament will feature a unique and engaging setup. We will have three strategically placed bar setups throughout the course to add to the fun. Participants are encouraged to visit the clubhouse, where they can witness firsthand the immediate impact of their fundraising efforts. The clubhouse will also serve as a hub for the DIG LIFE YOUTH CLINIC, running concurrently.

Youth Clinic:

The DIG LIFE YOUTH CLINIC is at the heart of our mission to inspire and empower urban youth through the game of golf. The clinic will be structured as a 3-part experience, ensuring that each of the 30 participating youth gains valuable skills and experiences:

10 youth will receive hands-on training at the driving range.

10 youth will enjoy the pitch and putt experience.

10 youth will receive technical instruction to enhance their golf knowledge.

Instructor Team:

To ensure the highest quality instruction, we have assembled a team of six dedicated instructors, who will provide focused attention to groups of five students each. The clinic will be organized into 50-minute sessions, with a 10-minute break in between. This rotation will continue throughout the duration of the clinic to maximize learning and engagement.
