Help Us Forge a Better Future for Our Blacksmith Shop!

Since 2017, our beautiful blacksmith shop at Pioneer Farms has been a place where tradition, craftsmanship, and community come together. But anyone who's spent time here knows that our current forges and ventilation systems are far from ideal. The smoke build-up can make it hard to work, let alone enjoy the craft. While we aim to recreate the authentic 1899 blacksmith experience, we don’t need to bring back the poor air quality of that era.

We have a plan to change that and to give our students and instructors the workspace they deserve. By building 10 new student forges with integrated chimneys, we’ll be able to draw the smoke out of the shop, creating a much cleaner, smoke-free environment. These modern forges will match the quality of our beloved building and allow us to host more students, share more knowledge, and deepen our blacksmithing community.
