Rockin' City Junior Roller Derby is an inclusive, volunteer-run 501c(3) non-profit, supporting young athletes in our communities from ages 8-17. We are dedicated to nurturing self-confidence and body-positive attitudes through camaraderie and sportspersonship.

Rockin' City is an open division junior league, only having recently branched out to be their own nonprofit after previously being under the umbrella of Rockin' City's adult league. We are governed by the rules of the Junior Roller Derby Association.

Our league has grown exponentially over the last two seasons; we have proudly hosted several tournaments, including our annual Boots-n-Bruises and Summer Smash tournaments. This year, we have had an overwhelming response from other teams interested in joining us at our tournaments. We have grown our league from a small team of skaters to now having both A and B charter travel team for the second year in a row, as well as a consistently growing local level 1 and 2 team. Last season, we were honored to host the second annual B-Team Championships, and our competitive success continues to soar!

We are proud to have a culture focused around inclusivity and teamwork, while having fun and striving to grow as athletes both mentally and physically. We are powered by an amazing team of skaters, a top-notch coaching staff, incredibly dedicated parents, volunteers, and sponsors who are all committed to building up future athletes who believe in themselves, push themselves, and find their place in a non-traditional sport that lifts them up and helps them grow as people and athletes.

To continue bringing incredible events to our community and to being a second home and meaningful experience for so many youth, we seek fundraising opportunities to help cover expenses such as track rental for our venue space, tournament fees, gear and medical supplies, travel costs, and all the other expenses that come into play when you are a volunteer-run nonprofit. Every bit of support that we receive from our skater families, sponsors, and community members like you is so appreciated and helps us reach our goals and continue keeping this sport alive, accessible, and safe for current and future skaters. THANK YOU!
