SAN is bringing back its signature event, the Red Ribbon Gala! This year's event will be held inside Highball: A Modern Speakeasy at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. After a 6 year hiatus, SAN is bringing back the GLAM and OPULENCE of our annual event. We'll be providing a 4-course wine paired meal, auction items, entertainment and some surprises!

About SAN:

SAN began as an informal network of friends, medical caregivers, and concerned citizens in 1985. Dr. Jeff Collins, Dr. Dan Coulston, and Tom Crowe of the Spokane County Health District met to discuss creating an AIDS support group which would include Community Mental Health, Department of Social and Health Services, members of the gay community, and other volunteers to coordinate services for people with AIDS.

SAN remains focused on maintaining the organization’s legacy by remaining a visible partner to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS in Spokane. SAN works in close partnership with community stakeholders to serve as a bridge for resources for people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS.

This year’s focus is on helping our community get back to ‘normal’ and creating more opportunities for events and safe spaces for people impacted by HIV/AIDS to gather, build community, raise awareness and fight stigma in Spokane.

During COVID, SAN has provided pantry bags to over 200 families per month through our weekly pantry program.

We rely on community support to continue providing our programs.
