Join us for the 20th Annual Red Ribbon Gala! This year's event will be held inside The Loft at Northern Quest Resort and Casino, above Windfall. We are excited to be able to offer a little more space than last year and that includes more attendees! As usual, we will provide a Red Carpet entrance along with the live telecast of the Academy Awards, buffet dinner, live & silent auction items, entertainment and more!

About SAN:

SAN began as an informal network of friends, medical caregivers, and concerned citizens in 1985. Dr. Jeff Collins, Dr. Dan Coulston, and Tom Crowe of the Spokane County Health District met to discuss creating an AIDS support group which would include Community Mental Health, Department of Social and Health Services, members of the gay community, and other volunteers to coordinate services for people with AIDS.

SAN remains focused on maintaining the organization’s legacy by remaining a visible partner to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS in Spokane. SAN works in close partnership with community stakeholders to serve as a bridge for resources for people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS.

This year’s focus is getting back to basics. SAN has been awarded both HOPWA and Ryan White grants which have helped us grow. We have added 4 new employees, a new space and a renewed sense of community pride. With this new space comes a renewed partnership with Spokane PRIDE, which will be sharing our space with us. Our new Community Center space will house SAN's Peer Support program, which currently meets twice a month, enough room for other LGBTQIA+ organizations to meet and a space for Spokane PRIDE to hold some smaller community events. We are excited for this new space and renewed commitment to our community. These partnership will help us to create more opportunities for events and safe spaces for people impacted by HIV to gather, build community, raise awareness and fight stigma in Spokane.
