Soledad O’Brien is an award-winning documentarian, journalist, speaker, author, philanthropist, and the founder of Soledad O’Brien Productions—a media company committed to telling empowering and authentic stories on today’s most pressing social issues. A powerful force in media, her work has earned her 10 Emmy Awards, 3 George Foster Peabody Awards, 4 Gracie Awards, 2 Cine Awards, 2 Telly Awards, and the prestigious Alfred I. DuPont Award. Beyond storytelling, Soledad co-leads the PowHerful Foundation, which supports young women in accessing and thriving through higher education.
