As the holiday season approaches, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of our veterans. This year, the Mary T. Klinker Veteran Center, Restoring Hope, faces urgent challenges, and we need your help to ensure our heroes receive the light, warmth, and stability they deserve.

The winter chill, coupled with economic uncertainties, has created a perfect storm of hardship for our veterans. Since the start of the year, we have opened 51 critical cases for veterans in crisis, underscoring the growing need for our services.

The challenges our veterans face are mounting:

● Food Insecurity: We are seeing more veterans and National Guard families struggling just to put food on the table due to stark increases in food costs and loss of income.

● Mental Health Strain: The constant stress of instability takes a severe toll on mental well-being. MTK provides essential support programming when they need it most.

● Operational Threat: To keep this vital resource open—to answer those 51 calls and the many more that are surely coming—we need a secure physical space. Our building needs immediate attention to handle the coming cold, preventing skyrocketing utility bills that threaten to shut our doors entirely.
