Sure to be our biggest and best yet, Fresh Start 2026 will mark a truly special milestone - 40 years of the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter supporting survivors. We would be honored to have you join us for our signature fundraising gala, a glamorous and fun-filled evening at the brand-new Compton Hotel. Dubbed “the most fun fundraiser in Northwest Arkansas," this unforgettable night of vintage glamour and gaming promises to be filled with exceptional food and drinks, a silent auction, casino games, and more.

For the first time, we’re extending the celebration with gaming extended until midnight and an exclusive after-party from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. featuring Haus of Untz DJ Collective, dancing, and even more good times! It's sure to be an incredible night of fun and generosity, because when our community comes together, survivors find safety, hope, and a path forward.

NWA Women's Shelter exists to help all those in NWA who are not able to call home a safe place, those who are or have experienced domestic abuse, sexual abuse, or sex trafficking. We strive to make all individuals in NWA feel safe, seen, at home, and human.

Domestic violence does not discriminate against age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. Thus, we offer free, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, confidential services to the entire NWA community.

NO ONE ever deserves to experience abuse. No matter what abuse you’ve endured or where you are in your healing journey, we are here for you. We can offer you emergency shelter if you are currently in a dangerous situation and need somewhere safe to go.
