Power Solutions is hosting our
8th Annual
RIDE FOR A CAUSE

We will be riding for TWINS, Ricardo & Roberto, who turned TWO in May. We will also be riding for their parents, Roberto Cortes & Ana Cristina Salazar Flores, and their sister, Fernanda, of Storm Lake.

Ricardo & Roberto, were diagnosed with a very rare Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation (CDG) along with global developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and seizures amongst other health conditions.

The twins turned TWO in May. As they continue to grow, the space for specialty equipment needed to care for Ricardo & Roberto will also grow with them, leaving the family super crammed no space left in their 2 bedroom home. All net proceeds from the ride will go toward this future expansion of their home.

The Parents, Roberto & Ana, are currently “ok” with items needed at home. If you would like to do something special for them, gift cards to local grocery stores or restaurants would be ideal and helpful. The parents are very much devoted to staying at home to care for the twins, as they need around the clock care and several hours a day are devoted to g-tube feeding.

SEVENTH BIRTHDAY

the same day as our ride and we have a big surprise lined up for her (SHHH. Please do not tell her; we want to keep it a surprise for Fernanda!). The family does request to keep items to a minimum due to limited space in the home, but Fernanda loves the colors pink & purple and is into Barbie’s. If you would like to graciously bring her a birthday gift the day of the ride, I am sure she’d love items to fill up her Barbie house! We hear there’s cake involved too, courtesy of Storm Lake Bakery! We can’t wait to see this all come together for their sister as well. Again, shhhh, this part is being kept as a surprise for her!

The ride will end in Schaller at the Tipsy Goat with live music by Burnin’ Sensations.

All wheels welcome!

Pre-Registration will be taking place super soon.

We do have Venmo as an online payment/donation option. If you choose to use Venmo, please message us your form so we have all of your information, including your tshirt size.
