Back home at Peixotto!

As we return home, we have been working with parks and rec to give our home a little TLC. The wooden structure has been partially rebuilt, fully repainted, and we have some lovely new swings! The clubhouse has also been thoroughly power washed and freshly painted, so bring your ideas for making the newly blank walls feel more like Rocky Mountain.

We are selling tickets in advance this year in order to help us purchase appropriate levels of food and activity supplies! All tickets include lunch and all family activities (and babies 2 and under are free). We don't want to run out of food ... but we also don't want to overspend on supplies for our fundraising event!

You can also pre-order a t-shirt and hoodie to ensure your size is available.

By selling tickets in advance, we also hope to simplify the food lines and family activity tables to make everything a smoother experience. Drinks, desserts, and raffle tickets will be available for separate purchase at the fair.

Tickets and a limited selection of shirts will also be available at the fair.

This is our only big fundraiser each year, and proceeds from ticket sales, the on-site raffle, and the online auction are critical to keep tuition affordable, fund scholarships for families that need financial assistance, and pay for our everyday operating costs – from teacher salaries to face paint!

The last few years have been particularly financially challenging for RM. Coming out of the pandemic, we soon found ourselves needing to relocate from Peixotto due to a rockslide in January 2023. We had to pay extra rent to the Randall Museum and at Coronado Playground during this time when Peixotto was unavailable. We have also hired a third teacher, Kelly Gleason, who not only brings her wonderful presence to our community, but also allows us to support families with two or more children who would otherwise throw off our required adult/child ratio when bringing a baby along to work shifts.

That said, we want everyone to feel welcome, especially as the spring fair returns home to Peixotto for the first time since 2019. So, we have created three ticket levels -- a discounted ticket for those who would find the general admission price prohibitive, a general admission ticket that ensures we cover our costs, and a supporter ticket for those who are able to give a bit more.
