2025 Update:

We used to think that the dramatic increase in clients we were seeing might be temporary; not any more! Over the past few years, it has become apparent that our increased numbers are in fact "the new normal" for Sedona.

In many weeks over the last year, the food bank helped over 200 households which multiplies out to 3 or 4 times that number in terms of actual persons in the household.

Food shouldn’t be an impossible choice. For millions of people in America, a daily meal isn’t a choice between different dishes. It’s a choice between food and other crucial needs—like medicine, electricity, or childcare.

You have a choice. Choose to help end hunger by donating, fundraising, volunteering, learning about hunger in your community, or advocating for food assistance. Your support helps us to provide food to meet the urgent need of communities across the region.

For 40 years, Sedona Community Food bank has served our neighbors in need with food at no cost, fulfilling its long-time mission of Trading Hunger for Hope.

Thanks to Sedona Community Food Bank, Sedona's tourism and hospitality workers can afford to stay in town and keep Sedona open for business.

SCFB also supports Sedona's local schools with emergency weekend backpacks of nutritious food, and after school snacks during the week.

SCFB delivers homebound and senior clients with monthly boxes of food and essentials, custom packed for each individual client's needs.

SCFB Hosts a market-style, choice-centered distribution for clients on Wednesdays every week, where clients get to shop for what they choose. Lots of fresh produce, local and organic fare is included in the options, and anyone is welcome.

SCFB makes every effort to have the same food choices as any grocery store, including fresh dairy and produce.

Our customers have truly appreciated being able to choose the items they and their families prefer.

Since the pandemic, SCFB’s services have been more in demand than ever before, and in addition to serving historically high numbers of clients in recent years, SCFB has successfully made the transition to their choice-centered client shopping experience as well as recently moving to their brand new building and facility, located at 30 Inspirational Dr in the heart of West Sedona, with easily accessible services and across the street from the nearest bus stop.
