Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of creativity! Indigo Arts Alliance (IAA) proudly presents our 5th annual spring fundraiser Spring is in the AiR, held at Maine Studio Works on Thursday, April 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. Featuring electrifying performances, an Indigo Poppin' dance party, delicious diasporic cuisine, and signature cocktails, this event helps Indigo Arts Alliance raise funds for our Artist Residency programs, which is at the heart of our mission.
This year’s entertainment includes live music by Jennifer Rachele and Stu Dias of Kouchera, a performance by Afro Brazilian Dancer/Choreographer Maestra Isaura Oliviera (AiR Alum ‘21), and an Indigo Poppin’ Dance Party Featuring Mosart212. The evening will be complemented by delicious offerings, provided by Black Betty’s Bistro. You will not want to miss the tasty bites of crispy black eyed pea fritters, lamb with onion and jalapeno marmalade, cuban style jumbo shrimp and more that will be circulating the room.
For our in-person guests, a raffle will take place at the event featuring special tours, limited-edition swag, and more. So bring your cash to buy your raffle tickets!
Can’t make it in-person, but still want to support IAA? We’re excited to unveil a very special IAA Auction component to this year's event! The IAA Auction, features original works of art by Daniel Minter, Eneida Sanches ('19), and more AiR alumn. You’ll also be able to bid on luxury travel packages and curated experiences at restaurants and breweries here in Portland. Visit the Auction tab at the top of this page to bid now!
Parking: There is a small parking lot in front of Maine Studio Works. If filled, street parking is abundant along Cove Street. *Please do not park in the Cycle Mania Parking lot.
