Join us on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Blackwater Pavilion for the SML GIVES INC Holiday Gala, an evening of celebration, community, and generosity in support of neighbors facing hunger and poverty across our region.

The Holiday Gala is more than a night out. It is one of the most important fundraising events of the year for SML GIVES INC, bringing together neighbors, businesses, community leaders, volunteers, and supporters who believe that no one in our community should face hardship alone.

Guests will enjoy a festive evening filled with live entertainment, holiday celebration, a silent auction, special experiences, community recognition, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the people helping make our region stronger.

But behind the lights, music, and celebration is a much bigger purpose.

Your Ticket Helps Put Food on Tables and Stability Within Reach

SML GIVES INC provides food access, crisis stabilization, healthcare connections, essential household support, and other services for neighbors experiencing hunger and poverty throughout Franklin, Bedford, Pittsylvania, and Henry Counties, as well as the Cities of Danville and Martinsville.

Through our network of partner organizations, we also provide last-mile food delivery to homebound neighbors who cannot reach traditional food pantries because of age, disability, illness, transportation barriers, or geographic isolation.

And our impact reaches beyond the neighbors we serve directly.

SML GIVES INC sources and shares food and other essential resources with nonprofit partners throughout our region at no cost. By working in complement rather than in competition, we help local organizations stretch limited resources and serve more people.

A New Chapter for SML GIVES INC

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for our organization.

SML GIVES INC is opening its first permanent facility in Glade Hill, creating a home for our in-person food pantry, case management and crisis stabilization services, administrative operations, and the growing SML GIVES Regional Food Bank.

Our Regional Food Bank is expanding the amount and variety of food we can source, store, and redistribute throughout our rural service area, including pantry staples, fresh milk and dairy products, locally grown produce, and other nutritious foods.

This infrastructure allows us to strengthen not just one pantry or one community, but an entire regional hunger-relief network.

Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, auction bid placed, and donation made at the Holiday Gala helps SML GIVES INC continue building a stronger safety net for our region.
