What is the St. Michael Angel Gala?

At St Michael, we strive to provide a Christ-centered education that fosters the growth of the whole person - spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Guided by Gospel values, St. Michael School inspires today’s learners to embrace tomorrow’s challenges through a foundation of Catholic faith, academic excellence, and compassionate service.

On Saturday, March 22, 2025, St. Michael School will celebrate our 8th Annual Angel Gala at Embassy Suites in Independence. This is our largest event and fundraiser of the year. Over the years, we have graciously relied on our school families, parishes, and community businesses to donate their time, talents, goods & services to make this event successful. Since 2018, we have raised funds to improve our school in many ways including installing a state-of-the-art security system, new Innovation Hub for students, renovating the teachers’ lounge and 1st and 2nd floor student bathrooms, replacing the preschool playground, adding enrichment programs for our students, and so much more!

How will the Angel Gala funds raised be used?

This year, we ask for your support to first raise funds to support St. Michael School’s new office and safer school entrance. Our goal is to complete the project that began it's first phase last year. Over the summer, we installed a new sidewalk for a safer pick-up/drop-off system, new PA/Bell System, and made other renovations to prepare to make our new school entrance a reality. With any remaining funds, we will begin giving our classrooms a “refresh” to keep up with the learning needs of our students and teachers. This will include potential new seating, new carpet/paint, improved electrical needs to support technology, and other exciting enhancements.

How can I support the 2025 Angel Gala?

We invite you to gather your family, friends and neighbors to attend this wonderful evening of fellowship and fundraising for a common cause! Tickets, tables of 10, and sponsorships can be purchased on this site.

Donating items for the silent or live auction portion of the event are also welcomed! A tax-deductible gift or gift certificate can be dropped off at the rectory or school. We can also make arrangements for a Gala volunteer to pick up your donation. Please reach out to gala@stmichaelschoolinfo.com for more information!

St. Michael Parish and St. Basil the Great Parish are both deeply committed to offering St. Michael students the highest quality Catholic education. Our school has an incredible amount to offer children spiritually, academically, and socially. We are blessed to have a dedicated faculty and staff that give of themselves each day to allow students to have the best possible faith-filled, educational experience.
