About KWPN-NA:

We are the Royal Dutch Warmblood Association of North America, commonly known as the KWPN-NA. Since 1983, the KWPN-NA has served generations of horsemen and women as the official North American branch of the KWPN, the worldwide leading registry for sport horses. With over 1300 members and more than 420 foals registered annually, the KWPN-NA has become one of the largest Warmblood registries of North America.

With the perfect combination of talent and temperament, the KWPN sport horse is beloved by equestrians around the world. From Pony Club rallies to the Olympic arena, these exceptional equine athletes can be found succeeding in a wide variety of disciplines from dressage to driving and jumping to vaulting, with riders and drivers of all ages and abilities. The KWPN sport horses are always in the highest rankings of sport horse standings every year. This proves that the KWPN is the choice of champions!

The Annual Stallion Service Auction (SSA):

Helps the KWPN of North America underwrite the many programs offered to its members and breeders; including educational opportunities and member awards as a result of the annual Keuring tour and performance in sport. The Futurity is also funded with SSA Proceeds.

Discount on stud fees to world class stallions, and supporting this breed association at the same time.
The highest bidder of the entire 2024 Stallion Service Auction shall receive a free foal registration.
The highest placed foal at our Keuring from an Auction stallion receives an award.
Foals by SSA stallions receive free entry to our Foal Futurity at the annual Keuring tour the following year.

Bidder Specifics:

The auction is open to KWPN Approved/Erkend/Licensed stallions, KWPN Foalbook stallions that are approved with an Erkend Studbook and outside stallions that are approved with an Erkend Studbook ONLY.
It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the KWPN-NA regarding the stallion’s status with the KWPN-NA.
It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the stallion owners regarding the stallion’s availability, contract details to include booking fees, shipment / collection payments and all other details, which may be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to contact the Stallion Owner prior to bidding to request their Breeding contract or agreement.
A winning bid is considered a contract.
Bidders must be at least 18 years of age.
One breeding per stallion will be sold to the high bidder.
Minimum bid increment of $25 required to advance.
Payment is due within three (3) business days after close of auction.
Breeding is to be initiated in 2024 unless otherwise allowed by stallion owner.
All responsibility for this breeding and delivery of semen lies between the buyer and the stallion manager/owner.
Important Note: Buyer is responsible for verifying KWPN-NA registration eligibility of foals. Mare’s registration status AND registry are an important factor in determining eligibility of foal.

**Bidder agrees to hold the KWPN of North America, their employees, officers and agents, harmless from any errors, omissions or actions that might arise as a result of the stallion service auction. **
