Two decades ago, I met a woman who would forever change the trajectory of my life—Ginger Morris. She took a shy young kid and helped me become the professional I am today. In the years since our first meeting, Ginger has transformed the standard for arts education in the greater Austin area, nurturing generations of nationally recognized artists who are performing on stages across the country, including Broadway. I’m humbled to count myself as one of the many lives that have been changed by Impact Arts and consider it an honor to be returning home to share the stage with the newest generation of young professionals.
