My story with Impact Arts starts before I even got here— a little kid with a big voice, passion, and surrounded by kids that don’t understand her. Growing up in Del Valle, the appreciation of the Arts was rare, to put it lightly. I’d have to scrap for resources, confiding in local theatre teachers and school departments for validation and the will to keep going. Now in Summer Stock, it brings me opportunity, a reason, success, all accessible. It’s given me resources I simply can’t get anywhere else. I’m looking to raise money to continue to make this program shine, all while being accessible to everyone. I cannot be more thankful for what they’ve done for me, and I want to give back! :)
