Achieving great things together!

For more than 10 years, Start School Later has led the charge to ensure that all students start school at times that are safe, healthy and equitable for all. As a nimble nonprofit with hardly any overhead, we've relied on donors to keep things going.

Did you know that while we spend 91% of our revenue on Program Expenses, only 6% of our revenue is generated from these programs? We depend on donors and supporters to develop resources that are freely available to anyone that wants them.

We want to continue to be responsible stewards and we need your help to keep things going. Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 for our Giving Throughdays Campaign! We realize that Giving Tuesday is only one day to make a difference, so we want to give you the rest of the year to help us make a difference.

This #GivingTuesday, please consider including Start School Later in your end-of-year giving plans. As a small non-profit working on a shoestring budget, your tax-deductible gift of $25, $50, $100 or more will truly impact the work our volunteers are able to do – from providing guidance to local advocates, to helping school districts implement healthy hours, to educating reporters and communities on the public health benefits of later school start times.
