Hope Blooms is SVRC’s signature spring fundraising and awareness event. This evening gathering brings together community leaders, advocates, and partners to celebrate survivor resilience, share the impact of SVRC’s work, and invest in a future free from sexual violence.

Funds raised through Hope Blooms directly support SVRC’s core services, including our 24/7 Crisis Line, individual and group therapy, legal advocacy, crisis counseling, and hospital accompaniment. Approximately 98% of SVRC funding is state and federal grants. With the decreasing access to grant support, unrestricted funds from Hope Blooms becomes even more imperative to continue the support in the 17-county area we serve including: Fayette, Scott, Madison, Estill, Powell, Nicholas, Harrison, Lincoln, Boyle, Garrard, Mercer, Jessamine, Franklin, Woodford, Anderson, and Clark.

Kentucky experiences higher than the US average rates of sexual violence, with 39.1% of women and 18.3% of men experiencing sexual violence in their lifetimes (CDC). SVRC exists to ensure that survivors have access to compassionate, trauma-informed support at no cost.
