As we reflect on the incredible journey of 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the impact we have made together at LAMP. This year has been transformative for our community, and we are excited to share some key highlights:

Lunch at LAMP: In response to the Valdosta Soup Kitchen closing, we launched Lunch at LAMP, serving over 30,000 meals to those in need.
Comprehensive Services: Our commitment to our community remains strong. We provided assistance to 994 clients, delivering over 11k essential services across all our programs.
Shelter Support: We distributed 6,751 meals in our shelters and provided over 500 hygiene kits, ensuring dignity and care for our residents.
Children’s Programs: We are proud to have supported 226 children in our shelter, providing them with a safe space and the resources they need.

As we proudly enter our 40th year of service, Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc. (LAMP) is excited to announce the launch of our $200,000 Capital Campaign A New Horizon! This milestone marks not only a celebration of our history but also a critical step forward in meeting the growing needs of our community.

The rising challenges of homelessness in the counties we serve require us to expand and enhance our facilities. With your support, this campaign will allow us to:

Create a unique identity for each of our dorms, making our shelter more personalized and welcoming for those in need.
Allocate $50,000 to fund our utility bills for the entire year, ensuring we can continue offering warmth, light, and comfort to our residents.
Expand our capacity to serve in the 7 other counties with more passion and dedication then we are currently able to with our current resources.
