Kick off your holiday season at the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees & Wreaths - a beloved Durango tradition! For more than two decades, this cherished community celebration has brought people together to marvel at extraordinary holiday displays, create lasting memories with family and friends, and support the life-changing work of Community Connections.

Whether you're beginning a new holiday tradition, searching for festive inspiration, or hoping to take home a one-of-a-kind tree or wreath through our online silent auction, Festival of Trees & Wreaths offers something for everyone.

EXPLORE A WINTER WONDERLAND

Beginning November 23, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum is transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland featuring dozens of beautifully decorated trees and whimsical wreaths, each uniquely designed by local businesses, organizations, and community members.

The excitement peaks December 4–6 during the official Festival Weekend, when visitors can explore the dazzling displays, vote in the People's Choice Awards, enjoy a family-friendly scavenger hunt and a new adult scavenger hunt with prizes.

Best of all, admission is free, making it the perfect seasonal outing for family and friends.
