Our 2025 Ergathon has officially wrapped up, and we’re so grateful for the incredible support from our donors, families, and athletes. Together, we rowed more than 3 million meters and raised over $80,000 to strengthen every boat in our fleet. Your belief in our mission keeps our oars in the water — helping every rower grow in skill, teamwork, and confidence, and succeed - both on and off the water. 💪

Since 2019, TriStar Rowing has trained passionate athletes who set big goals & go after them. Our team of 100 high school, junior high, & master rowers train year-round with a balanced mix of skill-building, strategy, & heart - and with expensive equipment that athlete fees alone can’t cover. That’s why we hold our annual Ergathon.

Boats cost up to $50,000, cox boxes $1500, ergs $1200, and oars $700 each.
Every new purchase strengthens our team - older equipment gets passed down so every rower benefits.
Recently, we committed to upgrading our aging fleet with exceptional Wintech carbon fiber racing shells - improving speed, balance, & build quality for everyone.

Each TSR team member sets a personal fundraising goal, then appeals to family, friends & local businesses.

Athletes compete to meet their fundraising goals & earn prizes, including the prestigious opportunity to select a race & athlete lineup at a fall regatta!

Ergathon is a community event, competition & PARTY! Much like a walk-a-thon, athletes row as many meters as possible on ergs! TSR athletes are divided into 4 teams, each led by one of our 2025-26 team captains. Teams compete for prizes for meters rowed & funds raised.

Thanks to our community and our headline sponsor, The Trentham Team at eXp Realty, we are aiming to collectively row 3 MILLION METERS - to support boats, equipment, and special projects for TriStar Rowing.

VENUE: New this year! The outdoor pavillion at Hardin Valley Event Center.
WEATHER: Weather will not be a factor, and we will have fans to keep athletes cool!

WHAT TO WEAR: Wear athletic gear that is not loose. Loose clothing can get caught in the rowing machine.

❓Why am I seeing a tip option at checkout? Givebutter offers its platform to nonprofits for free by asking donors to leave a small, optional tip to support their services. Adjust or remove the tip—it’s completely optional!
❓What are the processing fees? All donations include a small processing fee charged by payment providers (around 2.9% + 30¢ for cards). You can choose to cover this fee so 100% of your gift goes to TriStar.
❓Do you accept checks? We accept business checks. Individuals may write a check directly to an athlete who will, in turn, write a check to Tristar Rowing. Contact us if you have any questions or need assistance!
