Some places hold more than walls and floors—they hold stories.

For years, The Joy has been a space where people gathered, celebrated, danced, laughed, and found connection. It has witnessed countless moments of community and creativity, and now, before it changes hands, we want to honor what it has meant.

One Last Night at the Joy is our chance to do just that.

On February 6, from 7–10 PM, we’ll gather at 1516 Jones Street, the future home of the Urban Abbey, for an evening of music, dancing, and shared memory. With DJ Crabrangucci, cash bar, and plenty of space to celebrate, this night is both a farewell and a beginning.

As we honor the legacy of The Joy, we’re also raising funds to help transform this building into a welcoming, life-giving space for the Urban Abbey and the wider community. Every ticket and sponsorship helps us make room for what comes next—for gatherings, creativity, and connection in a new season.
