Unite for Lucas: A Campaign to Find a Treatment is officially open and will conclude on November 23, 2024. The TBRS Community has developed a Research Roadmap that outlines our commitment to finding a cure for Tatton Brown Rahman Syndrome (TBRS).

Lucas Richter, son of Kacee and Bobby and grandson to the owners Ronnie and Nancy Webber of Tin Roof BBQ, is at the heart of our mission. Diagnosed with TBRS at the age of 3, his journey underscores the significance of our cause. TBRS, a rare genetic condition caused by pathogenic variants in the DNMT3A gene, affects a mere 350 individuals globally, presenting challenges ranging from physical overgrowth to intellectual disabilities and a heightened risk of various health complications.

We come together online to support research and gain a better understanding of TBRS. There are several Sponsorship Levels that will directly fund TBRS Research. The TBRS Community is working towards funding a Drug Repurposing Project and 100% of your donations will fund this campaign.

In addition to our Sponsorship Packages, we will hold an online Silent Auction with bidding opening November 1st through November 16th. With each donation and every auction item bid on, we move one step closer to advancing research initiatives and providing vital support to families navigating the complexities of TBRS.
