To this end, we have instituted a strict no weapons policy for the event. This policy prohibits the possession, carrying, or use of any firearms, knives, explosives, or any other items that could be used as weapons. We ask all guests to leave these items at home or secure them safely outside the event venue. Security personnel will be present to enforce this policy, and anyone found in violation will be asked to leave immediately. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone celebrating progress and unity in our community. Photo/Video release: The El Paso County Democratic Party is committed to ensuring that our "United for Progress" Gala on September 7th, 2024, is a memorable and inclusive event. To promote and document the success of this special occasion, we will be capturing photos and videos throughout the evening. By attending the Gala, all attendees consent to being photographed and filmed. These images and videos may be used by the El Paso County Democratic Party for promotional, educational, and archival purposes, including but not limited to, social media posts, website content, newsletters, and other communication materials. We respect the privacy of our attendees and will not use these photos and videos in a manner that would be misleading or harmful. If any attendee prefers not to be photographed or filmed, they are encouraged to inform the event organizers upon arrival, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate their request. Your participation in the Gala signifies your agreement to these terms. Thank you for supporting the El Paso County Democratic Party and helping us to celebrate progress and community together. All payments made are contributions to the El Paso County Democratic Party whose registered agent is Mischa Smith. Contributions are not tax-deductible. Contribution rules: 1. I am a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., a green card holder). 2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution. 3. I am at least eighteen year old. 4. I am not a federal contractor. 5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person. Contribution limits are determined annually by combining contributions to the County Party with those made to the party at the state level: the Colorado Democratic Party's non-federal account, to the Democratic Senate Campaign Fund, to the House Majority Project, and to all State Party initiatives. Total contributions to the party are limited to $4,675 per calendar year (with no more than $3,875 at the state level) for individuals, sole proprietorships, LLPs, LLCs, and state PACs; for Small Donor Committees the limit is $23,600 per calendar year (with no more than $19,650 at the state level).
