Join us to celebrate the launch of Grounded Boots Relief - Mardi Gras style! Every non-profit needs a team behind the scenes! We're making connections and raising money to keep us grounded and ready to be the first boots on the ground. Our vital mission takes passion, preparation, flexibility, and a lot of teamwork - thanks for being part of the team!

Grounded Boots Relief is holding this online silent auction for one week beginning Friday, February 21st, 2025. Items include art from local crafters, themed baskets, and gift certificates for local food and activities. The auction will close at 7:30 pm EST during our February 28th event, Bootstraps & Bids. Items will be there for winning bidders to take home. We look forward to sharing who we are and how we plan to help when disasters strike. Our roots are here in WNC, but we are focused on being able to rally help in other communities just like we did here after Helene in 2024.

Bootstraps & Bids will be generously hosted by Hendersonville's own Cabbage Rose Venue. Tickets to this Mardi Gras event are $20 per person or $35 a couple. Expect live music, good company, light fare, and drinks for purchase. We know it's been a tough year for WNC and your support in any form is hugely appreciated - it is critical to our continuing mission.

We're based right here in Hendersonville, so you'll be seeing us for quite some time as we work alongside other organizations to help locals recover from Helene. We are also preparing to respond when future disasters strike- we're sending passionate leaders to training and trade shows, learning how to use new equipment and technology, and engaging with experts who can help us help people effectively when there simply aren't enough hands.
