Your contributions are essential to our mission, which is to build and strengthen the Lamar, Liberal, and Golden City communities by bringing together non-profit organizations, community needs and charitable giving.

The BCCF was established in 2014 by several philanthropic community members with the goal in mind to help our communities thrive for years and years to come.

We are one of the 55 regional affiliates of The Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Through our partnership with the CFO, we seek to enhance the quality of life in Barton County through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership.

Our all-volunteer Board of Directors works with many across the county and state to uncover community needs and work to help meet those needs in the most effective ways possible.

Together, our community has collectively distributed over $3.8 million in grants and scholarships to Barton County organizations since 2014, through our partnership with the CFO!

These grants have directly impacted programs and projects such as, Fostering Hope, Barton County Memorial Park, Barton County Senior Center, Show Me Youth Ag Academy, Wyatt Earp Park, Lamar R-1 Schools, Barton County 4H, Katie’s House, 10th Street Community Farmers Market, Lodge of Hope, About Our Kids, Good Samaritan Shop, Golden Harvest Days, Lamar Community Betterment, area churches providing community support and more!
