Our Story: Growing Together at Mountain Sprouts 🌱✨

Eight months ago, Mountain Sprouts Children's Center opened its doors with a dream—to create a nurturing, play-based environment where children could learn, explore, and grow. Founded by Leanne Smock, a dedicated childcare professional with a background in child development and medical care, Mountain Sprouts has quickly become a beloved space for families in Park City.

From the beginning, our goal has been to foster curiosity and connection with nature. Nestled on 3.5 acres, our center embraces outdoor learning, hands-on experiences, and a community-driven approach. What started as an idea has blossomed into a thriving childcare center, filled with laughter, discovery, and little hands eager to dig into learning.

As we've grown, we’ve seen firsthand how much our Garden Explorers (ages 3-5) thrive in nature-based activities. They love getting their hands dirty in the garden, exploring bugs, and playing in the fresh mountain air. But with so many energetic minds, we've realized that our backyard needs more—more spaces to spark creativity, more places to climb and build, and more opportunities for hands-on learning.

That's why we’re launching "Sprouting Play"🌿🏡✨ With this fundraiser, we aim to enhance our outdoor play area by expanding our garden, adding a large sandbox, and building playhouses that inspire adventure.
