The Women's Council of NAREB was established in 1971 at the National Association of Real Estate Brokers National Convention (NAREB) in Atlanta, GA, and is the oldest and largest affiliate of NAREB. Our mission is to elevate the standards of the real estate profession and support the community through financial literacy programs. Since the 1990s, we have proudly provided scholarships to high school students, fostering the next generation of leaders.

The Women's Council of CIRA was rechartered in August 2023 at the national convention in Houston, TX, and has since been actively supporting our community. Our initiatives include a coat drive benefiting the Flanner House and School #43, food distributions at CAGI, and financial literacy programs for students in Pike High School's HVAC program, the Kheprw Institute, the Flanner House, and more.

We are hosting our first scholarship luncheon at Broadmoor Country Club on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.. This event will honor our National Founder the late Madam Iris Yateman of Indianapolis, IN, and provide scholarships for 6 outstanding high school seniors to pursue their dreams of higher education.

We would love to have you in attendance to help us honor our founder, support the scholarship recipients, and celebrate our first year in Indianapolis!
