Experience the amazing talents of our students alongside featured performances by renowned violinist and storyteller Swil Kanim. Swil Kanim is a US Army Veteran, classically trained violinist, native storyteller, actor, and a member of the Lummi Nation. Swil Kanim's involvement underscores the significance of music and storytelling in education and cultural heritage, embodying the spirit of intergenerational learning that we celebrate at WIHS.

But that's not all - at WIHS, we believe in the power of intergenerational learning. Elders are an integral part of our community, providing mentorship and support both in and outside of the classroom setting. With their wealth of work, life experience, and cultural knowledge, they enrich collaborative learning experiences with students. This unique approach fosters a learning environment where frequent interactions across generations are not just encouraged but celebrated.
