Founded in 1996 by freeskiing legend Shane McConkey, the International Freeskier & Snowboarder Association (IFSA) was built on the belief that the freerider is at the heart of the sport. Nearly 30 years later, we continue to carry forward Shane’s vision of an athlete-owned organization that empowers athletes and elevates the sport of Freeride.
